Dalila Perea is an experienced professional in the field of psychology and higher education, currently serving as the Assistant Director, Adjunct Professor of Psychology, and Graduate Program Coordinator for Organizational Psychology at Vanguard University of Southern California since August 2017. In addition, Dalila Perea has been a therapist at Journeys Counseling Center since October 2021 and previously worked as a therapist at College Hospital Costa Mesa from November 2017 to March 2020, specializing in group therapy for the Partial Hospitalization Program. Earlier roles at Vanguard University include administrative positions supporting the Vice President of Academic Affairs and serving as a graduate intern for Career Development. Dalila Perea holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California, completed between 2010 and 2016.

Journeys Counseling
Journeys Counseling Ministry started from the genuine need to assist churches and ministries with professional counseling. Growing out of the heart and passion of Rev. Randy Powell and Dr. Tim Moyers, the ministry was birthed as an idea back in 1991 and eventually incorporated in 1996 as a nonproft 501(c)3. Currently, we are working with over 15 churches in the Southern California area. As Randy and Tim see it, Journeys has two purposes. The first is to train and mentor quality Christian therapists to serve the larger community whether with Journeys or another organization. Second, to provide quality professional Christian counseling to the community. Pastors and church members alike are concerned with the care they receive.
