Bharat has a strong educational background with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. Bharat co-founded TechPartners and also worked as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft.
