Steven Barba

Steven Barba has over 25 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services industry. Currently serving as a Mortgage Loan Processor at Jovia Financial Credit Union since March 2021, Steven previously held similar roles at JM RealEstate Capital and Mid-Island Mortgage Corp., where expertise in originating residential mortgage loans in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut was demonstrated. Steven's background includes extensive knowledge of Conventional and Jumbo Residential Mortgages, as well as experience with FHA and 203k Loans. Earlier roles involved processing, underwriting, and managing loan files at Melrose Credit Union and handling member services at RCU - 1500 FCU. Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Queens College.
