Mary Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several years in various roles and industries. Mary most recently worked as the VP of Engagement/Empowerment at Joy Organics starting in June 2022. Before that, they served as the VP of the People Department at the same company from October 2018 to January 2023. Mary also had a previous tenure as VP of the People Department at Joy Organics from October 2018 to June 2020.

Mary's earlier experience includes working as a Member at Touchstone Essentials from September 2013 to May 2014, an Assistant Professor at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota from August 2003 to May 2014, and an Adjunct Instructor at Pensacola Junior College and Okaloosa-Walton College from 1996 to 2003. In their roles as an Assistant Professor, Mary developed and taught various courses in public speaking, religion, and interpersonal communication, incorporating integral theory and emotional intelligence.

Mary Smith has a diverse education history. In 1983, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications from North Park University. Mary then pursued further education and earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Communications from Northern Illinois University from 1986 to 1989. In 2003, Mary attended the Florida Center for Theological Studies, where they studied Theological and Ministerial Studies for five years, until 2008. Continuing their educational pursuits, Mary attended Fielding Graduate University from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained a certificate in Integral Studies. Mary also holds additional certifications: in 2014, they became a Cultural Intelligence Trainer through the Cultural Intelligence Center, LLC, and in the same year, they also became an SQ21 Assessment Coach through Deep Change, Inc. Furthermore, Mary obtained an Extended DISC certification from Organizational Learning Solutions, Inc. in July 2015.
