Claire Freckmann currently serves as a Program Assistant at The Joyce Foundation, focusing on Gun Violence Prevention and Justice Reform initiatives as well as the Education and Economic Mobility program since March 2022. Prior to this role, Claire worked as a Data Assistant at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, where responsibilities included managing data for the Illinois Violent Death Reporting System and the Statewide Unintentional Drug Overdose Reporting System from February 2021 to March 2022. Claire also gained valuable experience as a Behavioral Research Associate at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, contributing to the same reporting systems from June 2018 to February 2021. Earlier roles included serving as a Research Assistant and Student Supervisor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and an HR Assistant at Greenheck. Claire began their professional journey as a Camp Counselor at Easter Seals Wisconsin, working with children with developmental and behavioral disabilities. Claire holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, obtained in 2018.
