Victoria M. Spires has a diverse work experience, starting in 2001 as a Stage Manager at the Black Ensemble Theater & Cultural Center. Victoria M. then transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer at the North Lawndale Employment Network in 2002, where they remained until 2013. Following that, they worked as the Operations & Property Manager at Deer Rehabilitation Services from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 onwards, they held various roles at Cabrini Green Legal Aid including Operations Manager, Associate Director of HR & Operations, and Director of HR & Operations. Currently, they are the Director of Talent & Culture at The Joyce Foundation, a position they have held since 2023.

Victoria M. Spires, MSHRM completed their Masters Degree in Human Resources from Roosevelt University, specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Victoria M. attended Roosevelt University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2001, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Columbia College Chicago, majoring in Theater with a focus on Acting.
