Timothy Daly is a seasoned professional in gun violence prevention and policy advocacy, currently serving as the Program Director for The Joyce Foundation since January 2019, where responsibilities include managing grant-making initiatives aimed at reducing gun accessibility and promoting justice reform in the Great Lakes region. Previous significant roles include serving as Chief of Staff for Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty, as Managing Director for Guns and Crime Policy at the Center for American Progress, and as Legislative Director for Congressman Mike Thompson, where Daly launched the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force. Earlier in the career, Daly also held positions in campaign management and communication for various congressional offices. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor's degree in Government and Economics from the University of Maryland.
