Richard Shea

Richard Shea is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in fund management and strategic investment. Currently serving as CFO and COO at Advocate Capital Management, LLC since April 2016, Richard has been instrumental in launching the Advocate Rising Rate Hedge ETF. As a Board Trustee for The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc., Richard provides strategic guidance and oversees the theater's endowment fund. Richard's previous experience includes advising a private equity and debt fund in Mexico City and a long tenure at BlackRock as Managing Director and Global Head of Real Estate Capital Markets, where Richard co-founded a successful commercial real estate high yield debt group. Richard began their career as a Vice President and Tax Attorney at Prudential Securities. Richard holds a JD concentrated in tax law from New York Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
