JoyDavid Ltd. are infrastructure and technologies delivery consultants specialising in building controls, BMS and security integration. We help enterprises and public services deliver efficient, standards‑compliant operations by unifying controls, monitoring, analysis and automation - from design reviews to commissioning.

Our work spans critical government and enterprise projects where precision and compliance are non-negotiable. We've supported the Ministry of Justice in advancing their digital twin capabilities, ensuring that complex building systems are intelligently mapped and managed. We've also led technical standards updates for IP surveillance and Building Management Systems across government estates, helping to set the benchmark for secure, interoperable infrastructure. Our leadership in shaping digital building strategy means we don't just follow best practice - we help define it.

Beyond government work, we've partnered with major enterprises to solve complex integration challenges. We've delivered BMS upgrades for commercial portfolios, designed security and surveillance systems for large-scale facilities, and guided technology migrations where legacy systems meet modern IoT infrastructure. Whether it's a corporate headquarters, a university campus, or a critical national site, we bring the same rigour: deep technical knowledge, vendor-neutral advice, and a focus on long-term operability.

Michael Tapp, one of our founding directors, has been at the forefront of building controls and systems integration for over two decades. His expertise spans from early BACnet implementations to today's cloud-connected, data-driven estates. He's advised on national standards, chaired technical working groups, and delivered training to industry professionals across the UK. Our team’s combination of hands-on delivery and strategic insight means our clients benefit from both practical solutions and future-proofed thinking.
