Don Sztaba

Don Sztaba has extensive work experience in various engineering and management roles. Don has worked as Director of Engineering at Joyson Safety Systems since 2015, where they led regional and global product safety reviews and successfully closed 43 safety issues within 90 days. Don also developed and implemented new product safety processes to preempt product recalls. Prior to that, they worked at Takata from 2004 to 2015, where they held roles such as Senior Corporate Manager and Engineering Manager, leading projects and improving product release and manufacturing deployment. Before Takata, they owned and managed Boulevard Construction Inc. from 1998 to 2004, handling general contracting for construction projects. Don started their career at General Motors as a Product Release Engineer and later worked at Chrysler Motors Corp as a Development Engineer, focusing on improving vehicle quality and customer comfort.

Don Sztaba received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University from 1983 to 1988.
