Gabriel Tsao

Gabriel Tsao has a diverse and extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Gabriel started their career as a Robotic Simulation Engineer at The Paslin Company in 2011, where they worked until May 2012. Gabriel then joined Utica Enterprises / HMS as a Robotic Simulation Lead, specializing in chassis and BIW assemblies for GM. Tsao worked there for over three years, until August 2014.

Following that, Tsao joined Ralco Industries as an Engineering Program Manager and Sales Coordinator, where they managed cost estimation, purchasing, and program procurement. Gabriel successfully negotiated cost reductions with suppliers and saved approximately $6-8 million annually across multiple awarded contracts. Tsao also managed material index surcharge adjustments and interfaced with customers using Plex.

In 2017, Tsao briefly worked at Gestamp North America as a Die Engineering Program Manager before joining Matcor-Matsu Group as an Engineering Program Manager. At Matcor-Matsu, Tsao played a key role in managing metal stamping and assembly programs for various automotive manufacturers like FCA, Toyota, Nissan, and Honda. Gabriel had a 100% success rate in on-time program launches and submission of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) at customer plants within two years. Tsao also organized program management and oversaw various aspects such as sourcing and managing suppliers, tracking timelines and budgets, and coordinating meetings with suppliers.

Tsao worked at Amsted Automotive as an Engineering Program Manager from November 2021 until December 2022. Currently, Tsao is a Lead Program Manager at Joyson Safety Systems, starting in July 2023.

Gabriel Tsao attended Michigan State University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication with a minor in Business. Prior to that, they attended Troy High School, but no specific dates or degree information are provided.
