Laurie Eissler

Laurie Eissler has extensive work experience in the field of internal audit. Laurie began their career at Borders Books in 1995, where they worked in internal audit for two years. In 1997, they joined Deloitte & Touche as a Managing Director and remained in that role for over two decades until 2020. Starting in 2020, Laurie Eissler joined Joyson Safety Systems, first serving as the Director of Internal Audit before being promoted to Vice President Internal Audit in February 2023.

Laurie Eissler obtained their BBA degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University in 1996. Laurie then pursued an MBA from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they received certifications including Certified Internal Audit from the Institute of Internal Auditors in 2004, Certified Public Accountant from the State of Michigan in 1997, and Leading Professional in Ethics and Compliance from the Ethics and Compliance Initiative (ECI) in 2015.
