Mark Sobczak

Mark Sobczak has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Mark started their career at Schenck Pegasus Corporation as a Sales Engineer, where they prepared testing quotations for automotive suppliers and OEMs. In 2004, they joined TK Holdings Inc. and progressed through various roles including Product Engineer, Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Manager, and eventually Corporate Senior Manager - Engineering. At TK Holdings Inc., they managed engineering teams responsible for safety restraints products for Honda applications, oversaw the development and launch of multiple projects, provided technical guidance to team members, and managed the engineering budget. Since 2018, Mark has been working at Joyson Safety Systems as an Engineering Director. In this role, they have led a staff of engineering managers and program managers within the seatbelt product business unit, and managed all application engineering activity for seat belts business. Mark has also been responsible for the pedestrian protection product line.

Mark Sobczak attended Western Michigan University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
