Marc Mund

Head of Partnerships and Business Development at Joywell Foods

Marc Mund has held various roles in the food and beverage industry since 2007. Marc began their career as a Strategy & Marketing Research Consultant at LRW in 2007. Marc then moved to Brand Management at FLUID Partners in 2010. In 2013, they took on the role of General Management, Operations & Strategy at BEBE DC. In 2014, they were an MBA Candidate at Kellogg School of Management and a Consulting Project at Colgate-Palmolive and a MBA Business Case at GE. From 2015 to 2021, they held various roles at The Kraft Heinz Company, including Sales Director, Associate Director of Sales for Coffee, Associate Director of Marketing for Coffee, and Associate Director of Sales for Heinz Brands, Frozen & Desserts. In 2021, they became Head of Retail Licensing/Co-Branding Partnerships at Impossible Foods, and in 2022 they became Head of Partnerships and Business Development at Oobli (formerly Joywell Foods).

Marc Mund has a diverse educational background, beginning with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Southern California, which they obtained between 2001 and 2005. During this time, they also studied Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Deusto in 2003. Before attending USC, they attended Istanbul International Community School from 1995 to 1998 and Cate School from 1998 to 2001. After completing their bachelor's degree, they went on to obtain a Master of Science in Management from Bayes Business School in 2006 and 2007. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2014 and 2015. In addition to their formal education, Marc Mund has obtained certifications in Food and Sustainability from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies in 2021 and WSET - Level 1 Wine from the WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2018.
