Luuk van Hoogland has a diverse work experience that spans from 2014 to the present. Luuk started their career at Regius College Wilhelminalaan as a Palstudent and teacher of informatics, mathematics, NLT, and physics. During this time, they designed a project to introduce C# programming to high school students and assisted with programming robots in Java for NLT.
In 2015, Luuk worked as a Software Developer at HGG Profiling Specialists, where they developed an API for the ProCAM software package, allowing clients to utilize its functions in their own applications.
Next, in 2017, they were a Software Developer at Handicare Trapliften, where they conducted research on the feasibility of mounting a depth camera on a stairlift to detect objects blocking its path. Luuk implemented a dynamic filtering system to identify and monitor objects within the stairlift's trajectory.
Currently, Luuk is employed as a Software Engineer at JOZ Home of the Clean Stable.
Luuk van Hoogland began their education at Regius College from 2008 to 2013, where they pursued Hoger algemeen voortgezet onderwijs (Havo) with a focus on Natuur en Techniek (NT). Following this, they attended Inholland University of Applied Sciences for seven years, from 2013 to 2020. During this time, they obtained a degree in Ingenieur (Ir.) in the field of Technische informatica / Computertechniek / Technische computerkunde. In addition to their formal education, Luuk also acquired several certifications. In November 2021, they completed the "Cursus C++ 11-14-17-20" at SpiralTrain. In March 2016, they obtained the Palo Alto Networks Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) certification from Palo Alto Networks. Furthermore, in April 2015, they received the Propedeuse Technische Informatica (HBO) certification from Hogeschool Inholland.
