Phd Fellow / Early Stage Researcher at Jozef Stefan Institute

Cathrine Terro, MSc., currently serves as a PhD Fellow and Early Stage Researcher at the Jozef Stefan Institute, focusing on Food Authenticity and Traceability since May 2022. Additionally, since August 2016, Cathrine has worked as a Community Nutritionist for foodblessed, where responsibilities include consulting on nutritional program development, raising awareness about sustainable diets, and managing food waste. Cathrine has a diverse background, including experience as a Content Writer for Travel & Destinations, a Consultant for Andrea Ferrante Consulting, and an intern at Bioversity International. Previous roles include Field Officer at the American University of Beirut and Medical Sales Representative at OrthoCare. Academically, Cathrine is pursuing a PhD in Food Science and Technology, holds a Master's degree in Human Development and Food Security from Università degli studi Roma TRE, and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services from the American University of Beirut.
