Shane Simon

Shane Simon, PhD, is a Senior Data Scientist at JPA Health since May 2024, recognized for exceptional client-facing skills and expertise in developing data science solutions. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Scientist/Data Scientist at McMaster University from September 2016 to September 2023, focusing on neural circuit development, causal inference, and statistical analysis. Shane also served as Program Ambassador and Board Advisor on the Program Committee, effectively representing and advocating for peers. Previous positions at The University of British Columbia included Laboratory Instructor and Clinical Research Associate, where responsibilities included supervising laboratory courses and conducting clinical data analysis, respectively. Shane earned a PhD in Neuroscience from McMaster University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from The University of British Columbia.
