Daniel Altschuler

Daniel Altschuler is a political scientist, organizer, and writer currently serving as the Managing Director of the Freedom Together Foundation. They hold a doctorate in Politics and a Master's in Development Studies from the University of Oxford, where they were a Rhodes Scholar. Daniel has held several prominent roles, including Co-Executive Director of Make the Road Action and Director of Politics and Strategic Communications at Make the Road New York. In previous positions, they served as the Director of Civic Engagement and Research at MRNY and the Coordinator of the Long Island Civic Engagement Table. Daniel's academic research focused on civic participation in Central America, and their work has been published in various notable journals and media outlets.
