Davood Shamsi

Davood Shamsi is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in AI, machine learning, and software engineering. Currently serving as an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since May 2023, Davood previously held the position of Senior Engineering Manager for AI and Machine Learning at Apple from November 2018 to April 2023. As the Founder of Avery.ai, launched in December 2017, Davood developed an AI-enabled data search tool. Additionally, during a tenure at Advertising.com, part of AOL Platforms, Davood contributed to significant projects related to predictive analytics for marketing. Davood also founded BlackLeaf, an electricity trading company, and served as a Researcher at IBM. Educational credentials include a PhD in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University.
