Jay Katukuri

Jay Katukuri is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and machine learning. Currently serving as Managing Director of Engineering, AI/ML at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Jay leads a team of over 300 engineers and ML scientists focused on commerce, shopping, personalization, and broader ML initiatives. Previously, Jay was Head of Personalization at Apple, overseeing engineering teams that delivered tailored recommendations for over a billion App Store users. Additional roles include Staff Research Engineer/Technical Lead at eBay, Software Architect at the University of Louisiana, and Director of Research at Araicom Research. Jay holds a PhD and MS in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, along with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and a certificate from the Engineering Leadership Professional Program at the University of California, Berkeley.
