Martin G. Marron

CEO, International Private Bank at JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Martin Marron is CEO of J.P. Morgan’s International Private Bank and a member of the Operating Committee for the firm’s Asset & Wealth Management business. Based in New York, he has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry.

Marron joined J.P. Morgan Buenos Aires in 1992 as a Fixed Income trader. Since then, he has held a number of leadership positions in Argentina, Brazil and the United States, including Co-Senior Country Officer of Brazil and Head of Global Emerging Markets Americas Sales and Trading. Before being appointed to his current role, Marron was CEO of J.P. Morgan Latin America & Canada, responsible for overseeing J.P. Morgan's activities in the region. During that time, he was also head of Latin America Investment Banking and Private Banking and a member of J.P. Morgan's Global Corporate & Investment Bank Management Committee. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Marron worked at Price Waterhouse, Credit Lyonnais and Citibank NA.

Marron holds a Major in Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English. He sits on the board of J.P. Morgan International Finance Limited, J.P. Morgan Overseas Capital LLC and J.P. Morgan (Suisse) SA. He is also currently a board member for the Council of the Americas.
