Peyman Tavallali

Peyman Tavallali is a seasoned professional in the fields of applied artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as Vice President and Applied AI and ML Lead at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since May 2022. Previously, Peyman held the position of Data Scientist III and Principal Investigator at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where leadership was demonstrated in managing a team of ten on projects focused on developing advanced AI and ML systems for NASA's observing systems. As Co-Founder, Chief Information Officer, and Adviser at Avicena, Peyman directed data engineering efforts to enhance medical estimations through innovative algorithms. Peyman holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Caltech and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
