Reza Amini

Reza Amini is an accomplished professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since October 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing Natural Language Processing and virtual assistant technologies. Previously, Reza held the position of Senior Research and Development Engineer at IPsoft, leading a team on the Amelia project, and developed a humanization framework for the platform. A background in research was established at the Affective Social Computing Lab, developing open-source software for facial expression generation, as well as experience in academia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Florida International University. Reza's early career includes roles in electrical communication systems design and medical device circuit design. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science and a MS in Electrical Engineering, complemented by a BSc in Biomedical Engineering.
