Wafaa Schiefler

Wafaa Schiefler is an accomplished Commodities Quant and Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since February 2011, currently serving as the Head of Metals and Agricultural Products Quantitative Research and Data Science Lead for Commodities. Wafaa has held various roles at JPMorgan, including Commodities Model Development Lead and Energy Quant, with a focus on cross-commodities initiatives and oil markets. Prior experience includes positions as a Quantitative Analyst at Sophis and Calyon, along with early roles in structuring and marketing. Wafaa holds an engineering degree in Applied Mathematics from Ecole Centrale de Paris and a Master's degree in Statistics and Quantitative Models for Finance from Université Paris Cité. Additionally, Wafaa is actively involved in recruitment and diversity initiatives within the Quantitative Research team.
