Marco Cici

Marco CICI has a diverse work experience in design technology and BIM consulting. Marco has held positions such as Head of Design Technology at ASFD | Engineered Design and JRL Group Ltd, where they played a key role in managing design processes. Marco also worked at Foster + Partners as a BIM & Design System Coordinator, where they coordinated the Apple Office Headquarter project and provided training and mentorship to teams. Additionally, they served as a Team Lead - BIM Consultant at 3TI PROGETTI S.p.A., managing BIM projects for the Doha Metro Station Gold Line Underground Station. Prior to their professional career, Marco worked as a Student Events Coordinator and Club Promoter at ORSA MAGGIORE S.R.L. Marco has also pursued relevant coursework in building reuse and valorization and completed a workshop on Bridge Design at Politecnico di Milano and Budapest University of Technology and Economics, respectively.

Marco CICI completed their high school education at Liceo Scientifico Primo Levi, where they obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on core fields such as Mathematics and Physics. Marco then went on to pursue further education at Politecnico di Milano, from an unknown start year until 2016, where they earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Building and Architectural Engineering. During their time at Politecnico di Milano, they also completed a safety course. Additionally, Marco participated in the Erasmus Programme at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2013 to 2014, acquiring a degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, and Architecture.

Apart from their formal education, Marco has obtained various certifications and completed several courses to enhance their skills. Marco received certificates in Digital Strategy, RPA, AI, and Cognitive Tech for Leaders, Foundations of The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), and Organizational Learning and Development from LinkedIn Learning. Marco also obtained certifications from Autodesk in Revit Architecture, including Contract and Renovation, Energy Analysis, Families Creation and Editor, Advanced Rendering, Complete Course, Project Management. Marco further expanded their knowledge by completing courses in Agile Development Practices, Agile Foundations, Communicating with Confidence, and Python Essential Training. Lastly, they obtained an administrative certificate from LinkedIn Learning.
