Michiel Berben

Michiel Berben is a Senior Process Engineer at JSR Life Sciences since April 2017, specializing in large and lab-scale upstream and downstream processes for protein A production, while also training, coaching, and supervising a team of operators. Prior to this role, Michiel completed a Master Thesis at KU Leuven in late 2016, focusing on the use of bacteriophages to combat plant pathogens. Michiel obtained a Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences: Biochemistry from KU Leuven between 2011 and 2016.
