Kevin McGlown

Kevin McGlown currently serves as a Senior R&D Engineer at JST Power Equipment since July 2021, following a similar role at Powell Industries from June 2013 to July 2021. In these positions, Kevin has developed and validated new product designs, improved existing products for cost, safety, and functionality, and coordinated efforts across engineering, manufacturing, and business teams while adhering to industry standards. Prior experience includes serving as an Applications Engineer at Powercon Corporation, where Kevin managed technical specifications, developed design drawings, and oversaw fabrication and testing. An early career as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Siemens involved supporting steam turbine engineers and developing solutions for legacy equipment. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
