Sharad Mahendra

Sharad Mahendra is a seasoned executive currently serving as the Joint Managing Director and CEO of JSW Energy Ltd since December 2023. Previously, Sharad held the position of CEO at JSW STEEL COATED PRODUCTS LIMITED from June 2020 to December 2023 and served as Director and COO at JSW Energy Ltd from December 2017 to June 2020, overseeing all functions of the Hydro, Thermal, and Solar Energy business. Prior to these roles, Sharad was the Director of Sales & Marketing and a Board Member at Apl Apollo Tubes Ltd from September 2016 to December 2017, and the Executive Director of Marketing at Phillips Carbon Black Limited from March 2015 to September 2016. Sharad holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology and completed a short course in Leadership Development at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
