Carl Mayes

Carl Mayes has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Carl began their career as a Senior Sales Engineer at Timken in 1999 and later worked as a General Sales Manager at Koyo (UK) Ltd from 2003 to 2011. In 2012, they became the Managing Director of Koyo UK Ltd, a division of JTEKT Corporation, where they provided bearing solutions for various markets. Carl then assumed additional responsibilities as the Assistant General Manager - Automotive Europe and Managing Director of Koyo UK at JTEKT European Operations in 2015. In their current role as the Senior Deputy General Manager and Managing Director of Koyo UK Ltd, Carl is responsible for defining and implementing the automotive strategy across Northern Europe.

Carl Mayes attended the University of Brighton from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a B' Eng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to attending university, they attended Oldbury Wells School in Bridgnorth from 1982 to 1988.
