Ksenija Barysienė

Ksenija Barysienė has extensive experience in EU affairs and tobacco taxation, currently serving as the EU Affairs Director and Director of Tobacco Taxation and Anti-Illicit Trade at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) since July 2016. Prior to this role, Ksenija held the position of EU Affairs Manager at the Confederation of European Community Cigarette Manufacturers from July 2011 to July 2016. Ksenija's career also includes project management at Medea from September 2007 to June 2011, and serving as an Attaché for Fiscal Affairs at the Permanent Representation of Lithuania to the EU from September 2004 to September 2007. Earlier in the career, Ksenija was a lawyer at Interfarma between 1998 and 2000. Ksenija holds an LLM in Law from the Riga Graduate School of Law, completed between 2000 and 2001.
