Viorel Andrei

Viorel Andrei is a Continuous Improvement Manager at JTI and has extensive experience in the cement industry and research. They began their career as a stage engineer at ICMUG Giurgiu from 1982 to 1984, specializing in industrial metrology and quality checks. Subsequently, from 1984 to 1989, they worked at ICPILA as a Research 3, focusing on research and development in cement production. Prior to that, Viorel headed the Physico-Chemical Lab at CEPROCIM SA from 1982 to 1998, where they led various research projects and developed new investigative techniques. Viorel holds an engineering degree in Physics from the University of Physics Bucharest and has pursued further studies in chemical engineering at the Politechnical University of Bucharest.
