Maurice Imhoff is a dedicated historian and community leader, currently serving as the Founder and President of the Jackson County Michigan Historical Society since November 2020, where responsibilities include forming a board and conducting original research for educational videos. Imhoff holds a position as a Commissioner with the City of Jackson and serves as Vice Chair of the Historic District Commission, having also advised the city's first Youth Council. Experience includes a role as Programs & Events Coordinator for Michigan Humanities, along with internships at the Michigan AFL-CIO, State of Michigan, and Smithsonian Institution, where Imhoff contributed to policy development, archival maintenance, and cultural programs. An educational background includes ongoing studies at Jackson College and Harvard University, building on a strong foundation established at Northwest High School.
