Avinash Kant Kumar

Avinash Kant Kumar is the current President of Integrated Supply Chain at Jubilant FoodWorks. Prior to this, they were the Head of Supply Chain & International Trade at McCain Foods India Pvt Ltd from August 2014 to February 2015. From May 2012 to July 2014, they were the Founder/Director of Focusale Private Limited, a venture they started in 2012 that imported, sorted, graded, and packed Dates locally at factories in Delhi and Trichy. Avinash also oversaw offices in Delhi, Mumbai, and Calicut. In April 2006, they began working for Reliance Retail as Vice President and Business Head. There, they were responsible for heading a new business in Agri-commodities Supply Chain - Sourcing, Processing/Packaging & Sales. This included all categories within staples such as Rice, Pulses, Wheat, Spices, Dry Fruits, Edible Oils. Avinash introduced a range of branded products for these categories in bulk & retail packs. In 2008, they turned over $20 million and set up four factories with a total investment of $12 million.

Avinash Kant Kumar has a B. Tech. (Hons.) in Electrical Engg. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a PGDIE in Operations Management, Operations Research, and Industrial Engg. from National Institute of Industrial Engineering. Avinash also has an I. Sc. in Physical Sciences from Patna Science College and a Secondary School diploma in General from Patna Collegiate School.
