Carlos Fernandes is an experienced educator specializing in special education and mathematics. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher and Teacher Assistant at Judge Rotenberg Center since October 2011, Carlos implements instructional programs and supports professional staff in health program supervision. Previously, Carlos worked as a Research Assistant at UMass Dartmouth, analyzing data on the value of a college education, and served as a Mathematics Tutor to enhance student academic performance. Carlos holds a Master of Science in Special Education and Teaching from Bay Path University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Additionally, an internship at THE KAPUT CENTER involved assisting PhD professors with research on mathematics teaching improvements.
