Eugene Zhernakov

Eugene Zhernakov has worked in the software engineering and testing field since 2015. Eugene began their career as a Test Engineer at UL, followed by a Test Analyst role at SwarmOnline Ltd. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Test Analyst - Associate and then a Test Analyst - Senior Associate, where they were the lead automation and manual tester on the flagship J.P. Morgan Markets mobile app (iOS) using Swift. Eugene then moved to DAZN Group in 2021, where they worked as a Software Engineer In Test within the Catalog team responsible for discovery and browsing of DAZN’s content. Eugene automated testing using JavaScript and TypeScript in various frameworks such as Playwright, WebDriverIO and TestCafe, and used tools such as Charles proxy and Insomnia for network mocking and debugging. In 2023, they began working as a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Judopay.

Eugene Zhernakov obtained a BEng (Hons) Digital Security, Forensics & Ethical Hacking degree from Glasgow Caledonian University in the School of Engineering and Built Environment between 2010 and 2015. In October 2015, they also obtained an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from iSQI GmbH.
