David James is the founder and chief juggler at [Juggle Street](/org/juggle-street). David has also been a non-executive director at Brasserie Bread and Specialty's Cafe & Bakery, Inc.

David James has had a long and successful career in the food industry. David began their career at Specialty's Cafe & Bakery, Inc. in May 2003. David quickly rose through the ranks and became the VP of Sales & Marketing in San Francisco. In February 2005, they stepped down from their position to return home to Sydney. However, they remained actively involved on the Specialty's board as a non-executive director for nearly 9 years, during which time Specialty's expanded to over 50 stores in 7 cities across the US and annual revenue surpassed US$100M.

In October 2005, David James became a non-executive director at Brasserie Bread. In February 2013, after 7 successful years as CEO & Director, they transitioned into the role of Non-executive Director. David remained actively involved on the board as a major shareholder until Brasserie Bread was acquired by Private Equity in September 2018.

David James is currently the founder and chief juggler at [Juggle Street](/org/juggle-street).

David James' educational career began with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Geography from the University of Plymouth.

Shana Slaiman has over 15 years of experience in customer service, recruiting, and marketing. Shana currently works as a customer service representative at [Juggle Street](/org/juggle-street), a placement agency for nannies and household managers. Shana has also worked as a relationship coordinator at Placement Solutions in Melbourne, a recruiter at McCormack Employment Services, and a retailer at Little by Little. In addition to their work experience, Shana has also owned and operated their own business, Trainability, for two years.

Shana Slaiman has a diploma in recruitment consulting from Recruitment Consultants Services of Australia and a certificate in workplace and assessment training from Chisolm Tafe. Shana also has an achievement certificate from Churchlands Senior High School in Perth.

Hugh has first-hand experience in building and working with some of Australia’s most successful and fastest growing technology companies. As a founding member and COO of the Volante Group, Hugh was instrumental in elevating the business to Australia’s leading ASX listed IT infrastructure, professional services, and outsourcing organisation. Until recently Hugh was the Global Chief Investment Officer for Investible, a global early-stage investment company based in Sydney and now champions and scouts exciting investments for a number of Funds in Asia.

With four children ranging from toddler to teenager Ruth knows all about the juggle! An Early Childhood Teacher, studying Counsellor and a busy mum, she is passionate about helping families and children. Ruth and her family spent three years living in Sydney which is where she became an avid user of Juggle Street. After returning to NZ Ruth discovered there was no Juggle Street and felt like a part of her family was missing! In early 2018 Ruth approached Juggle HQ about bringing Juggle Street to NZ and spent the next 18 months launching and establishing Juggle Street in New Zealand. Ruth has since returned to teaching and furthering her counselling studies, but still finds time to advise Juggle Street on all things Kiwi! Tu meke!

Ruth Johnson

Karen had a stellar career in investment banking and led the Capital Management groups at Citigroup and UBS Australia. She has over 20 years’ experience in capital raisings, capital management and M&A. Karen was also contracted to work at ASIC for 12 months during the GFC. Karen is now a full-time company director and is a Non-executive Director of Magellan Financial Group Ltd, Omni Bridgeway Ltd and ARB Corporation. Karen sits on a number of not-for-profit Boards, is an investor in Juggle Street. 

Karen Phin

Amr had over ten years of IT experience in Europe and USA before relocating to Australia in 2011. He co-founded Inspiration-Gate in Egypt, an award-winning software development and outsourcing company. Amr spent seven years building and leading globally distributed dev teams delivering commercial applications (desktop, mobile and cloud) to US and European based companies. On relocating to Australia in 2012, Amr worked for David for two years as CTO at Brasserie Bread before starting Juggle Street with David in 2014.

Justine is a juggling mother of two and a marketing professional with over 18 years of experience. Justine started her career at Time Inc. Australia and progressed to Group Marketing Manager for Who & Time magazines. She transferred to Time Inc. UK to be Head of Marketing across six print and online titles. Returning to Sydney in 2008, Justine held senior marketing positions at Independent Digital Media and Private Media focussing on digital marketing. Justine has headed up marketing at Juggle Street since May 2016.

Justine Duncan

John is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia & NZ and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. John has worked with companies across many sectors ranging from start up to large listed entitles and is expert in the management of cash. He was a Director of MYOB for 10 years and Chair of MYOB’s audit committee. John was a director of UNICEF Australia for more than 12 years including a term as President and he is currently a director of a “for purpose” company in the disability employment sector.

John Stewart

The current leadership team at Juggle Street has experience in a variety of industries, including food service and online retail. The team members also have a range of educational backgrounds, with degrees in fields such as geography and business. This diversity of experience and knowledge helps to ensure that the company is able to successfully meet the needs of its customers.
