Avik Sengupta

Avik Sengupta has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Avik currently holds the position of VP Engineering at JuliaHub since November 2016. Prior to their current role, Avik served as the Head of Algorithmic Solutions at Decimal Point Analytics from March 2013 to November 2016. During the same period, they also held the position of Co-Founder and CTO at AlgoCircle.

Before that, Avik worked at Lab49 as a Director and Practice Head from July 2007 to October 2012. At Lab49, they were responsible for designing and delivering financial applications for leading clients and managing key accounts. Notably, their contributions include the design and development of the Morgan Stanley Matrix project.

Avik's work experience also includes their tenure at Itellix Software Services, where they co-founded the company and held the positions of Co-Founder and CTO. Avik led the development team in providing technology solutions to the financial services industry and contributed to the company's successful acquisition in 2006. Prior to Itellix, Avik worked as a Senior Analyst at Webtek Software and as a Manager at Unit Trust of India.

Avik Sengupta completed their MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore from 1993 to 1995. Later, from 2000 to 2002, they pursued their MS degree in Computational Finance at Carnegie Mellon University.
