Christopher Covelli

Christopher Covelli has extensive experience in law enforcement and public safety education. Since April 2010, Christopher has served in various capacities at Lake County, including Deputy Chief of the Court Security Division and Sheriff's Office Spokesman, with prior roles in the Patrol and Criminal Investigations divisions. In addition, Christopher has been instructing courses on crisis and external communications since October 2022 for Julie Parker Communications, while also teaching management courses for public safety professionals at Northwestern University Center for Public Safety. Earlier experience includes serving as a police officer and community service officer for the Village of Lincolnshire from August 2004 to April 2010. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Columbia College and completed the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University in 2018.
