Gigi Wan

Gigi Wan currently serves as Director of Operational Risk Control in the Second Line of Defence at Julius Baer, a position held since September 2021. Prior to this role, Gigi Wan experienced extensive leadership in operational risk and change management, holding various senior positions at BNP Paribas from November 2015 to August 2021, including Head of Projects and Change Management for APAC Global Markets and ALMT Operations, as well as Head of Operational Permanent Control. Earlier career highlights include a role in Business Risk and Control Management at HSBC from April 2014 to November 2015, and serving as an Insurance Regulator at the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance between January 2012 and March 2014. Gigi Wan earned a Master of Laws in Corporate and Financial Law from The University of Hong Kong, completing the degree in 2017.
