Mudhafar Ismael has an extensive work experience in various pharmaceutical companies and research institutions. From 1985 to 1991, they worked as a Research Pharmacist at the Scientific Research Council in Baghdad, where they published 5 scientific papers and developed a strong background in methodology and statistics. Mudhafar then transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry and worked as a Country Sales Manager for Lundbeck from 1991 to 1995. From 1996 to 1999, they held the same position at Julphar. In 2000, they joined Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) as a CRM Manager, overseeing the integration of sales and marketing data into one platform. Mudhafar later became the Marketing Planning Manager before taking on the role of Business Intelligence Lead in 2013, where they deployed sophisticated statistical and predictive analysis for big data control.
Mudhafar Ismael holds a DBA degree in Marketing Research from SBS Swiss Business School, which was completed from 2018 to 2020. Prior to this, they also obtained an MBA degree in Marketing Research from the same school, during the years 2016 to 2017. Mudhafar Ismael further pursued an MBA in Marketing from Preston University, from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, they hold an Advanced Certificate in Market Research from Market Research Society, which was completed in 2003 to 2004. Mudhafar Ismael has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Pharmacology from the Faculty of Medicine, acquired from 1986 to 1987. Mudhafar completed their undergraduate studies at Baghdad University, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 1976 to 1981.
