Eshantha A. C. Alutwela currently serves as the Internal Control & Risk Head at Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C since April 2021. Prior to this role, Eshantha held significant positions at United Arab Bank, including Vice President and Head of Operational Risk & Fraud, where responsibilities included maintaining high standards for Operational Risk and reporting to senior management and the Board. At HSBC Bank Middle East, Eshantha was the Head of Policy & Ops Risk Framework, implementing enhanced operational risk frameworks for the region. Eshantha's experience spans various roles in internal control, audit management, and credit operations at multiple leading institutions, including HSBC Bank New Zealand and Deloitte & Touche. Eshantha holds a Chartered Accountant designation and additional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Bankers in London and the University of the West Indies.
