Farid Gurbanov

Farid Gurbanov is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture, data technology, and IT transformation. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Architect for Jumbo Supermarkten since February 2021, Farid has designed scalable cloud solutions utilizing AWS and Azure, while also overseeing deployments with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform. Previously, Farid contributed to the Cloud Security Alliance's Zero Trust Working Group and led complex technology projects at Accenture as a Data Technology Architect and Team Lead. Farid's earlier roles included Technical Lead for a Private Investment Group where IT infrastructure was transformed for multiple enterprises, and various positions as a DevOps Engineer from 2001 to 2012, which provided a strong foundation in application integration and customer support. Farid holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree with honors in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Baku State University.
