Tarek Hammoud has a diverse work experience that spans over 14 years. Tarek has held various finance-related roles in prominent hotel chains and companies. Starting in 2008, Tarek worked for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where they served as an Assistant Director of Finance and took on multiple responsibilities such as Purchasing Manager, Cost Controller, Income Auditor, and General Cashier. Tarek also worked as a Financial Controller at Softone Lebanon Offshore S.A.L, an IT Service Company, between 2008 and 2010. From 2010 to 2014, Tarek served as an Instructor at the Lebanese University, teaching courses related to accounting principles and the hospitality industry. In 2013, Tarek held the role of Financial Controller at The Smallville Hotel. Tarek then joined Basra International Hotel as the Director of Finance in 2014. Following that, Tarek worked for Marriott International in various finance positions, including Cluster Director of Finance and Director, Finance Operations and Business Analytics for the Middle East & Africa region. Currently, Tarek is the Director of Finance at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, where they have held roles at both the Burj Al Arab and Emirates Towers locations.

Tarek Hammoud earned a Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management from the Lebanese University between 2005 and 2009. Tarek also obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2012.
