Risper Anyango Obure

Risper Anyango Obure is a seasoned human resources professional currently serving as the Regional Head of Human Resources for Eastern Africa at Jumia Group since September 2023. With extensive experience in HR management, Risper has held various leadership roles, including Group Performance Management Lead and Director, Head of HR for Kenya at Jumia Kenya, where strategic HR initiatives were implemented to enhance organizational performance. Previously, Risper served as People and Culture Manager at SWVL Technologies Limited, focusing on diversity and inclusion strategies, and has played significant roles at Jumia Kenya, Lavington Security Limited, Zed Arch(K) Architects, and the Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya. Risper holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Commerce from Madurai Kamaraj University.
