Erica Salerno-Sabastiani, PhD, is an experienced professional who has worked in various roles within the medical and life sciences fields. Erica began their career as a cellular therapy specialist at Progenitor Cell Therapy, where they played a key role in executing critical quality control methodologies for major clients and performing QC testing of immunotherapy products. Erica then worked as an adjunct Immunology professor at Drew University before joining UMDNJ/Actinobac Biomed, Inc as a post-doc. At SmartAnalyst, they worked as an Analyst in the Life Sciences sector before joining ICC Lowe Pace as a Senior Medical Writer. Erica later moved to Evolution Medical Communications LLC, where they held roles as an Associate Medical Director and then as a Medical Director. Currently, Erica is employed at Jumo Health as a Senior Medical Writer, where they collaborate globally with advocacy groups and community organizations to develop accessible and evidence-based healthcare resources in multiple languages.
Erica Salerno-Sabastiani, PhD, obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Saint Elizabeth University between 2000 and 2004. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued a doctoral degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey from 2005 to 2010.
