Samir Islam is an accomplished technology leader with significant experience in high-frequency trading and software development. Currently serving as the Head of Technology at Jump Trading LLC since September 2014, Samir Islam manages technology and operations for the Jump Liquidity bilateral trading solution, focusing on market data and exchange connectivity. Prior roles include software engineering at Citadel Investment Group, where solutions for high-frequency options trading were developed, and leadership positions at RBC Capital Markets and SR Labs, emphasizing front-end technologies and execution management systems. Samir Islam also held a vice president role at Merrill Lynch, overseeing GUI projects for Automated Options Market Making.
