Sridhar Ranganathan has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Sridhar began their career as an Internship Trainee Engineer at Sundaram Clayton Ltd. in 2004. In 2005, they took on the role of Supply Chain Engineer at Hyundai Motor India Ltd. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as a PhD Student and Graduate Student (M.S.) at Penn State University. In 2012, they were hired as a Staff Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In 2021, they became the Director of Computational Biology at Jumpcode Genomics and the Principal Computational Biologist at 64x Bio.
Sridhar Ranganathan completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University in 2005, followed by a dual Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Optimization from Penn State University in 2008. Sridhar then went on to complete their Ph.D in Bioinformatics and Genomics from Penn State University in 2011.
