Charles Monteiro

Charles Monteiro has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Charles began their career in 2009 as a Civil Engineer at BETAR Engineering, where they worked until 2012. Charles then joined Programa Inov Contacto - Empresa Riportico Engenharia as a Civil Engineer from April 2012 to October 2012. Following this, they joined Riportico Engenharia, where they held multiple roles including Civil Engineer - Consultant and Civil Engineer - Commercial Director in Mozambique, from November 2012 to March 2015.

In 2016, Charles joined Galp as a Petroleum Engineer, a role they held until June 2020. From July 2020 to January 2022, they worked as a Project Originator & Developer - Renewables at Galp. After this, Charles worked at Siemens as a Project Manager from January 2022 to January 2023.

Currently, they are employed at Jungle as a Senior Sales Consultant - Renewable Assets, starting from January 2023.

Charles Monteiro began their education in 2004 at Instituto Superior Técnico, where they pursued a Master's degree in Civil Engineering. Charles completed their studies in 2009. In 2011, Charles enrolled in the Structural Concrete Course at the same institute, further specializing in the field of Civil Engineering. This course lasted until 2012. After a gap, they pursued another Master's degree, this time in Petroleum Engineering, at Heriot-Watt University from 2015 to 2016.
