Sílvio Rodrigues

Sílvio Rodrigues has a strong background in the field of renewable energy and wind farm design. Sílvio started their career in 2011 at Delft University of Technology as a PHD Graduate Student, where they focused on developing new strategies to obtain optimal wind farm designs. During their time there, they conducted research on future offshore wind farms with higher installed capacities and further distances from the coast. Sílvio joined jungle.ai in 2016 as a Co-Founder, contributing their expertise in the renewable energy sector to the development of the company.

Sílvio Rodrigues started their education journey in 2006 at Instituto Superior Técnico, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Sílvio continued their studies at the same institution and completed a master's degree in the same field from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, Sílvio furthered their education at Delft University of Technology, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Sílvio successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in this field in 2015.
