April Abella Padil has nine years of work experience in various roles. April began their career in 2004 as a Promo Producer for Creative Communications Management at ABS CBN. In 2005, they worked as a Writer/Producer for Creative Programs Inc. - Myx Philippines. In 2006, they were an Online English Teacher (Written and Spoken) for Emaxx Solutions and a Broadcast Reporter for Trapik.com - HAS Communications, Inc. In 2010, they were a Radio DJ for NU107. In 2011, they were an Online Broadcaster for Dig Radio and a Content Production Specialist for MYX TV. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Radio DJ for 105.1 Crossover. Finally, they are currently a Content Manager for Jungo TV.

April Abella Padil graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Audio Visual Communication.
